The Fuel Ox and Affordable Fuels Partner to Introduce Premium Simeon Fuel

Asbury, NJ & Middleburg, PA, July 14, 2020 — Fuel Ox LLC, a leading provider of fuel additives that help lower truck, boat and heavy equipment operating costs, today announced a collaboration with Affordable Fuels, a full-service fuel distributor, to offer customers Simeon Fuel, a new premium fuel enhanced with The Fuel Ox.Affordable Fuels, which is now selling Simeon Fuel-branded diesel, gasoline and heating oil to customers throughout Central Pennsylvania, chose to incorporate The Fuel Ox into its products in response to growing concerns about the effect of ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) and increasingly rigid engine standards on performance and efficiency.

The Fuel Ox is a highly concentrated, multifunctional fuel additive enhanced by a proprietary organometallic combustion catalyst to deliver a more complete combustion cycle. Customers generally report fuel efficiency gains of 4 percent to 12 percent or more in some cases. It also substantially reduces soot and emissions – which prolongs DPF life and reduces the need for manual regenerations by 60 percent. In addition, The Fuel Ox offers the benefits of a traditional fuel additive; it cleans and stabilizes fuel, protects fuel injectors and other vital engine components, guards against corrosion and removes water.

Steiner said he was sold on The Fuel Ox after a customer pilot program last year. “It’s done everything it’s been touted to do,” he added. “We’ve since tested it thoroughly with a number of customers and have seen great results.”

One of Affordable Fuels’ key customers, a contract school transportation company in Central Pennsylvania has seen a nearly 15 percent improvement in its fleet fuel efficiency. Another customer, a regional trucking transport operator saw nearly a mile per gallon improvement in its equipment after incorporating Simeon Fuel with The Fuel Ox.
